Warmth Winter 2012

I've never managed to knit anything, a majure downfall!
I remember my grandma would show me, and I would try a few times, but it just never seem to stick!

So this year is going to be different!
We found this gem; a wool store in the Gardens, Cape Town.  Bought a variety of yarn, and asked our Nana to show me just the standard version, think it is called a right-hand knit.

Knitted my first neck-warmer! Love the Super Chunky yarn! YEAH

Can't wait for my Frikkie Awesome Hand/Arm warmers!
Hopefully this would be the birth of a knitting revolution...LOL

The forgotten world

We visit here when we feel like shoving the rest of the world out the back door... It teaches you that life can be more humble, less complicated and free of clutter, bills, cars, cellphones, electricity.  We live for starlit nights around campfires, appreciate unspoiled sunsets, admire the abundance of nature.
