Arniston & Kassiesbaai gems of the Southern African tip

Wow, what a beautiful discovery!  We've found this quirky restaurant between the white chalk homesteads just over the hill of Kassiesbaai! A few weeks ago we set out on a Saturday morning to the Southernmost tip of Africa.  I've been meaning to post these back then, just couldn't let it slip!

Probably the best 'Kerrie-vis' I've ever tasted, except our own interpreted version also made with Yellowtail. Totally
lip-smacking-delicious

Our beautiful daughter, enjoying the rays of sun

Enjoying the view over Arniston

This cultural fishing village, is so refreshingly beautiful, it is a 'must see' if you ever travel WAY-DOWN-SOUTH! :)

A month with Khai

We can't believe it has been more than a month already that we've shared our life with two little people!  What a blessing it has been so far - We rarely catch our breath but it is worth all the effort!

Hooray to many more days, months and years to come!

Warmth Winter 2012

I've never managed to knit anything, a majure downfall!
I remember my grandma would show me, and I would try a few times, but it just never seem to stick!

So this year is going to be different!
We found this gem; a wool store in the Gardens, Cape Town.  Bought a variety of yarn, and asked our Nana to show me just the standard version, think it is called a right-hand knit.

Knitted my first neck-warmer! Love the Super Chunky yarn! YEAH

Can't wait for my Frikkie Awesome Hand/Arm warmers!
Hopefully this would be the birth of a knitting revolution...LOL
