Homemade Baby Goodness


1 x large sweet potato, 
peeled and chopped in pieces
1 x large carrot, 
peeled and chopped into rings
2.5ml freshly grated ginger
1/4 cup canned white beans, drained
a pinch of nutmeg

Place the sweet potato and carrot in a pot, add water to cover half of the veggies, bring to boil, then lower the heat and simmer for approximately 15mins or until soft.
Add the ginger, beans and nutmeg.
Mash with a fork or handheld blender until you achieve the adequate consistency for your baby. 

Spoon into ice trays, place in the freezer until frozen.
Tip them into a zip-lock bag, freeze up to 3 months.
This recipe is for babies 8 months and up!
Defrost for your babies need.


We usually combine a few veggie cubes with a frozen fruit cube (apples & pears), it tantalizes the taste buds even more!
